Well, the last couple months have been... interesting. Will give the full story at a later date (some things need to settle down a bit, including potential criminal charges). Suffice it to say that I got seriously scammed by someone I thought was a friend. Will give full details after all the smoke clears...

As some may remember, last year I FINALLY got a Harley. Had a small problem with her in June: she threw her compensator on the way back from Kentucky. No problem: took her to the local HD shop, and they made it all better.
Except that, when I brought her out of storage last week, she started making the same noise she did last June. WTF?
She's back at the shop: REALLY hope they fix her right this time!

technical difficulties
Due to circumstances not beyond my control (if I possessed two brain cells to rub together), posting has been on hold. This will continue to next Wednesday, when I'll return with my previously promised Humpday Hardware (the Far East installment).
Sorry folks: I did something stupid, which I should've known better than to do. Lesson learned.
By the way: anyone out there with an older Mitsubishi Eclipse: buy a replacement crankshaft pulley as you approach 30K miles. And a spare jack. Trust me on this.

Stranded on a deserted isle...
Sorry about the derth of posting.
Read MHI, then had to run to the Faire to help my sis. Was ready to come home, and the crackshaft pulley on my engine came apart. Now I'm waiting for the part to come in, stranded at Faire until then.
Life sucks sometime. Regular posting to resume sometime next week (when I should actually be at home)

Passage of crew...
Well, another "crew member" here has passed away: one of the cat's health took a nose-dive the last couple days, culminating in a lifeless body a couple hours ago.
Tinker had been doing a tremendous job of attempting to fill Squee's position as "mommy's kitty". And now, she's gone.
Yet another that will be missed... :(

current events
I had a great series of posts I was gonna run about the supposed evils of open carry, and my experiment therein: spent a good portion of the last week OCing my .357. Unfortunately, that has to be put on hold.
Was getting ready to regale y'all with the joys of moving into the new apartment. Although the move's gonna happen, I'm not gonna be all that involved in it.
Today, while playing in a charity capture the flag tournament, I went ass-over-teakettle. Resulting in one of the cleanest broken clavicles ever seen.
Hopefully, I'll be speaking to a surgeon this week about getting screwed. But it looks like the riding season is over for me this year.
Posting will continue to be light: this one-handed stuff sucks. But I'll try and keep y'all updated...
